when i put my foot down the revs are very slow. Just had the timing done with hks cams and vernier pulleys. would the fuel cut def or the fuel air reg i got on there slow the revs down if they are not set up. it should run easy over 300bhp with all the engine mods but REVS are just too slow.
Can anybody help thanks.

is timing correct now that you`ve changed cams and fitted pulleys.
if it was ok before, sounds like the timing is not right.might be a tooth or 2 out
could also be dirty air/fuel filter.

I'd look at the cam timing first, (Did they check the tappet clearance?)
then the ignition timing (as it could have been altered)
then maybe fuelling (overfuelling)

How was it before the cams went in?
