RUST!!!

I wonder if anyone knows a good place to sort out my R's rust problems??
The back arch just underneath my petrol filler cap has started to rust and just yesterday I noticed that the bottom right hand side of my boot window frame is starting to rust too! is this a major problem for these cars? Or am I worrying for nothing? :?

Nah the R is actually really good at repelling corrosion if looked after, but these cars are 10 years old so you are bound to get the odd little scab.

I have had a couple of blisters removed, and they have never returned.

I believe the Rear Arches are a comon spot, but they are on most cars.

Would'nt worry to much but best to sort it before it spreads, If you leave it, it will only get worse

to prevent rust appearing esp in the rear arches, always make sure the car is clean, remove all mud from inside of the arch, its surprising how quickly it builds up and takes ages to dry out.

also take out the front arch lining and scrape out the mass of mud that collects behind that.

a clean car is a happy car
