she lives ! but a few strange faults

ok so i connected the battery up on the car for the first time since ive had it in 12 months and the passenger side headlight came on although the stalk is in off posistion, so pulled the plug off the bulb. the stalk still controls the drivers side headlight as it should. so just wandering if someone has had a similar problem before i start to investigate? on the plus side the engine fired up and sounds got with good oil pressure whitch im chuffed with as it was in a pile of bits when i got it. cheers neil;-)

I've had a similar problem with indicators on a different car and was bad earths might be worth checking

Check the connectors are pushed on the bulbs properly and that the earth side of the block isn't/hasn't burnt out.

thanks guys, i will check the earths but it seems to be picking a live feed up from somewere as it wont turn off , ie lights switch and ignition turned off, but passenger side headlight stays on! the only way it will go off is to disconnect the battery, very strange.

Can't you just pull the connector off the bulb?
