Similar thing has recently been going on at BP stations in Milton Keynes.

Apparently, bogus chip n pin "engineers" visit the stations and tamper with the readers.

A few times ive been into Shell and the chip and pin thing refuses to work properly :shock:

I've always argued the chip and pin system is a damn site less secure that what it replaced.
If you're using your pin number everytime you use your card, it's only takes a good pickpocket to look over your shoulder and then whip your card. 5 mins later your account is empty as he can use it anywhere:frusty:
