I'm off to buy anotherGTIR at the weekend and was just wondering if anyone could give me a few tips on what to check to see if it is a bad or good one?
my last one was ok at first apart from everything feeling tired, and clunky
but soon after buying it i noticed electrical faults, smoking, plus on wet & hot days the engine seemed to not accelerate properly - @ 5-7000 rpm wouldnt boost properly.
so any tips would be appreciated.
also could someone describe how to check the engine for smoke? the procedure (do i leave it ticking over or just boot it after a few minutes)
