So what was wrong wioth the 'box then?

I damaged the syncro's at japfeast last year and just wear and tear,
The Quaife's been in 3 years and 38000 miles of gental driveing had taken
there toll :lol:.

Also Quaife gave me free of charge the better v4 3ed gear as mine was
a v1 and that's the only mod they have made on the later boxes, I also
had Ivans upratted selector fork fitted ad some oil cooler union's 8) .

Yeah I thought while it was out it would make sense as there was not much cost involved, And I can add a cooler and pump when I'm a bit
better off , Plus I can get an inline filter as well then my gearbox
should be pretty tuff 8) .

I got the new spec clutch from JGY today to it looks pretty good it's got
6 paddle's and you get the bearing and a clutch alinement(sp) tool with
it to not bad for £275 all in and ratted at 464lb's it may need a little mod
to fit propaly but i'll have to wait and see.

I'm not sure when it's back on the road I could get it done in a month but
we can't afford to insure and run it at the mo anyway so I'll just take my
time and do all them little jobs that you never get around to doing .

If you wan't to pop around one day soon I'll show you a few things that
you should be getting done on your car mate you'd be surprised how much they start to rust in places that your never see inless you have the susp and tank out like I have at the mo , I'v just picked up my replacement brake pipe and will be fitting that tomorow(not an easy job) .

As for the spare engine I'll have to wait for the new pistons and rods to come from JGY, So I think I'll stick the old engine back in with the new turbo and injectors and get it remapped to 1.3/1.4 bar that should give me nearly 400bhp anyway and just see how long the motec can keep the engine together :twisted: .

It's not a gt30 mate it's a JGY BB 37 R .

And probaly not mate I'll give it a month .

I'd say black unless you are gonna clean it a lot.

As for the rest of you, just cos V is gay doesn't mean he likes pink! He says he is comfortable enough in his homosexuality to paint it in a more manly colour! :shock:
