Hi,

I have just changed all the bushes on my car to proflex, plus the whiteline camber bolts front & back and there toe kit. Can anyone could recommend some where to take it to a have fast road/track day set up.

Many thanks

Have a look in the Yellow Pages for a place that does a full 4 wheel alignment. You're looking for a place that uses a Hunter alignment machine or similar and preferably somewhere who has a technician with some experience of using it.

Expect to pay between £80 and £110 for a proper set up !

Funny you should say that....

My local KwikFit have a fancy Hunter 4 wheel alignment machine but, the don't have a clue how to use it (even though it instructs you step by step through the process) or of what they are trying to achieve !

What are you on about; they are masters in suspension set-ups, using state of the art technology that makes them one of the market brand leaders within the suspension tuning world.

Thanks for the reply's but i was thinking more along the line of a suspension specialist like

http://www.centergravity.co.uk/

But they want £450 + VAT for a full set up which inc corner weighting, ride height setup and geo. They want £200 + VAT for a geo on its own. I didn't know if the guy's that do track day's had the car's set up by a turner or someone with a good rep.

Thanks

I have to agree with Davey on the kwikfit thing i wouldn't let them touch a radio controlled car. But i can only speak of the "A" holes by me.

are they:shock: :?
funny i popped into my local branch,2month ago, after having gabs fitted,so i was in need of toe alignment, castor, four wheel lazer alignment, then i looked at the acne faced youth who looked confused and bewildered, and walked out,so yeah andy boy they seem world leaders mate, i think not squire, then i went to a well recommended guy who was confident
in the task ahead, and done a great job.
ps why dont they advertise how good they are on suspension setup, when they are on tv?
instead of constantly saying 40%off tyres?
and jumping up and down in their grey overalls banging there feet together:oops:

you cant get better than a kwik fit fitter, where the ones to trust
oh yes you can get better

kwik fit may have the best equipment but i would not trust them to change a wheel! just the same as formula 1 top equipment but no one to use it properly

40% off tyres lol you will get a nice set of kwik fit ditchfinders and the decent tyres will be at normal price

tell them to fcuk off,
as paul mentioned earlier,
you can get it done for 60/120quid,
but more important is finding someone with a good rep and experience.
