Top end ?

does anyone actually know what there supposed to do top end,mine on a flat or even going downhill wouldnt achive alot move then 140mph, and does anyone know how this can be improved, im having my engine taken apart as the big end bearings have gone and while its apart is the best time for improvement any suggestions?

as std they were supposed to do 140 something.
balance and lighten the bottom end,take a kilo or two from the flywheel,fit forged pistons,uprated block bolts,uprated big end bolts and finish off with a metal head gasket [:D]

me and a mate of mine are doing the engine work but im going all out with everything and hes not got alot of time will let you know if i find anyone where r u based
