hi my pulsar is currently sitting at 342bhp and 286lbs of torque,whats a safe amount of torque to go to without problems starting?
Theres no set amount of torque where things start breaking, but obviously the more torque you have the more strain will be put on the transmission. The main thing is you dont exceed the amount of torque your clutch is rated for ;-)
That seems like quite a low torque figure for that amount of bhp, most R's ive seen seem to be getting that sort of torque with around 300 bhp!

I also have a low torque reading..what can be done to raise it through modifications?

cams russ! they will substantially up the torque figure
