Towing with the engine out

well im gettin nowhere at the garage so im takin the R home to work on. Whats the precautions i should be taking? Im thinking about the propshaft , driveshafts and rear diff. The car will be travelling 2 miles. The engine and parts I'll take home seperately.

As its already disconnected at the front I'd disconnect the prop from the rear diff to stop it flapping about and doing any damage.

You will need cv joints in ALL wheels otherwise your wheel bearings will collapse. I'd use an A frame rather that a rope aswell.
