I looking for T1R tire nowday
but
Someone told me that Toyo Proxes T1R’s side tire width is small.
As such, after prolonged usage, the side tire width would degrade and become somewhat triangle-lised.

Truth ?

Any feed back from T1R user ?

The shop owner keep pushing me for Advan Neova

Thank

Mine seem fine at the moment after hard driving but I've had T1-S's in the past and all of them have degraded at the sides causing them to burst - I heard that the T1-R's had that problem solved.

I know that the T1-R's and T1-S's are more likely to wear down quicker than alternatives such as Yoko's when the camber isn't set up 100% correctly.

Hope that helps, Cheers Andy

Bridgestone RE720 tyres perform better than T1-Rs, if you can get them as easily as the Toyos they are an improvement.

I have had 2 sets now and if you have any alignment issues they die really quickly, I also think the sidewalls are too soft. My car feels wobbly and horrible if the tracking or pressures are out and it get on my nerves. I had some yokohamas part worn off my mate because they annoyed me so much. Next time I'm buying rainsport 2's
