i think my transfer box is shot ?

with my car on the ramp with all 4 wheels off the floor ,i can turn my front wheels about 1 whole turn before the rears start to turn?

with my mates car the rear wheels turn the exact same as the front?


is there any adjustment that i can do or just change the transfer box for another one

There is a specific torque setting to check the condition of the centre diff (in gearbox) by turning the nearside front wheel, even easier launch it on full lock from a parking space and if the back slides out then your centre diff is still good. :lol: Kev and Tom can confrim this

Both our cars have 4wd drive but just wondering why mine truns the exactly the same at the front as the rear yet purplemonster's seems to take a full turn of the front wheel before the rear one will start to turn.

Has anybody else tried this when all 4 wheels are off the floor.
