turbo/boost/bar

what bar is the standard R running on 0.7 or 0.8?
no one has ever been able to give me a answer and to be sure with it,
would generally like to know,fairly new to the forum

10.6psi divided by 14.77 = 0.71
10.6psi divided by 14.5 = 0.73

(i use 14.77 as 1 bar but some people use 14.5)

I think you'll find 14.7psi is normally accepted as atmospheric pressure and 14.5 psi is 1bar.
I think my R was running about 550mmHg( 0.73bar) when absolutely standard.

understood

no im with you what i meant was 1 bar to set it for the rollling road tune,anyway great results i got 279bhp with 271ft lb.
all that was done was a bleed valve and boost turnt up to 1bar from standard 0.7 bar.I used a dastek unichip to set it.brilliant, I am well happy

Good results!! The power is what I expect, but the torque figure is very, very good (most are about 240lbs or so). That'll be the Unichip helping you there.
