Hi guys, just a quick question for ya. I own a 1992 Nissan Sunny GTI, and was wondering how hard it would be to do a turbo conversion on my current sr20de engine. I know most of you will say just drop a gti-r engine in, but i wanted to know what would need to be changed eg driveshafts, intercooler, brakes etc

just bolt turbo and manifold on then u will need an oil feed for turbo and sort exhaust out loads of guys have done it to primeras and almeras would be the same as they needed to do
u could only run low boost due to compression but would still be good fun
also need to sort management out emanage would be easiest option or maybe swap to gtir ecu injectors and maf if thats possible

Yes that's possible. :) but really better to do if changing the engine. Id keep stock ecu if keeping stock engine and use something to bridge the gap, unless it was big mods going on.

I agree with Micra Ed, keep the engine and modify for the turbo, thick copper gasket can help lower compression and a fuel controller, fuel regulator and fuel pump can help fuel the engine on boost.
