turbo removal

due too studs snapping in my turbo elbow while trying to change downpipes ive got to remove he turbo turbo replace it, question is do i need to remove the air con and radiator to get it off or can it be done leaving them in

any litte tricks i need to know?

I have just removed mine.
It's a bit of a bugger especially if it's been on for so long like mine.
You should remove the turbo with the manifold, but getting good access to the manifold nuts is difficult. I used a 3/8 drive short extension and short socket to get 7 of the 8 nuts off and a 14mm ring spanner for the eighth.
My job was easier as the front end is stripped down. No a/c stuff, Bumper, reinforcement bracket, rad... I even took the alternator off to get a bar over the 14mm spanner.

You can give it a go with things still in place and remove them if you are struggling to gain better access.... enjoy!
