need to lift the r up in the front were is the best point to place it so i can get to the oil filter to see if the oil temp switch /wire is connected

you can either use the proper jacking points on the sills at the front or use a main supporting bar, one that will not bend etc when in use i have used the main bar at the front before and that seems ok

me too, just make sure the cups seated properly and chock the rear wheels :wink:

eerrm... there's a proper jack point under the front centre of the car

You might need to right-click and Save As.... doesn't seem to display right in my browser...

Front one is just a \_/ shaped bit of metal welded onto one of the cross members.

There's been some discussion about it not being wise to lift using the sills.
