Vibration after 100 mph??

I have just recently come across an annoying problem where the
back of the car vibrates but only after 100 mph :doh:
I have checked all the balancing etc..
Anyone else come across this before??

mine used to do it after 70 ,turned out it was the rear discs warped,dont know if its the same in your case tho.;-)

It's not that kind of vibration it kind of vibrates round the whole back-end of the
car but wierd how it only does it after 100-110 I'm thinking maybe the propshaft?

i think they would be quite a bit of volume with your propshaft.

mine used to shake at 95 onwards and i had a four wheel allignment done and it went after that.dunno if that will help

Mine does the same thing. Above 120 kph though, can't make it to 100 mph before it happens. Let me know what you find out . . . my car is going into storage soon.

Its not so much of a shaking its more like the car vibrating
at the rear and also vibrates my seat alot.
I recently had new wheels, tyres and 4 wheel alignment done :roll:

yes, rumbling in the bottom of my seat. same thing here. New wheels/tires and a 4x wheel alignment.

possibly done a static balance on the rear wheels instead of inner and outer like on the fronts. that is ok for 2wd cars but maybe 4wd cars dont like it.

check the inside edge for weights on the rear wheels.
