wat oil ?

hi doin a service on the R on friday wat oil shood i put in it 15/40 like the book says or not ?

I either use mobil 1 15/50 fully synthetic

or castrol RS 10/60 fully synthetic

Depends which one one i can get my hands on at oil change time.

i would recommend millers 10/60.thats whats in mine and the oil hi-teq recomend

10-60 , 10-40 is to thin at top end for our cars

its always better to run fully synthetic in these cars, the oil doesnt break down at higher operating temps like semi does. the the engine was designed to run on semi it because fully syntetic wasnt as available back in the early 90's...or so i've heard.

i've used castrol rs, agip and millers 10w60 and of the three millers definately seems better, the engine sounds smoother.

and change it at least every 3000miles

i dun the service i put 15/50 oil in my R mobil 1 fs car fills a lot beter sins iv chang the oil ( it probaly dont but i fink it do)

Agip Race oil 10-60 is perfect for the SR20.

Though at over 10 notes per litre it an't the cheapest, but its worth it.
