Water temp gauge not working!

After having my gearbox rebuilt and installed, I’ve noticed that my water temp gauge has stopped working.

Oil temps comes up, heat comes through the heaters, so I’d say it just a case of a disconnected connection somewhere.

Just wondered where the temp sensor(s) is in the engine bay or perhaps where to look for a dodgy connection?

I’m sure it just needs a wriggle or re-connecting, just not sure where to look, any advice would be appreciated

It's on a pipe that connects to the block on the back. It's on the right hand side when you're looking at the back of the engine.
Here's a pic of mine :

There's two on the pic, I'm _guessing_ that the smaller one is for the gauge.

Of course it has be round the back of the engine :roll: :lol:
