Does anyone no what the all up weight of an r is, was just wondering as im in the market for a nice red or white won !!!!!!!! have a couple of nice RS,s but just want a change from the whole RS seen cheers andy.

But i bet you are running big bhp my escort series 1 rst 230bhp will beat a standard pulsar as i have done so twice !!!!!! but when i find a pulsar it will have to run around 350- 400 bhp as wouldnt want to get embareesed to often,im going to look at a white won this afternoon this is a pic of the won im going to look at

What times did your series 1 run? (14s?)
With 300kg less and 15bhp more you should beat them. But probably only from a rolling start, if the guy can launch it you'll be beaten off the line, but come back fairly quickly.
I'm not running big bhp. Only just gone upto 1 bar and about 275bhp.
I came from an MG montego turbo that had about 240bhp and a fastest 1/4 of 13.9. My standard Gtir felt slower, but I never dragged it totally standard. With 246bhp and full weight it did 13.08 and with 50kg less weight, smaller wheels and tyres and the same power it did a 12.7.

i'm not being funny but my old pulsar was only running about 280/290 bhp and i never got embarsassed by any thing i'd put that sort of spec against your scort,i don't think you will be disapointed
