What ECU is this?

got to say though, thats the biggest load of cheesy waffle i`ve ever seen on an ecu!

thats a daughter board matey.

you can pull the map via datascan to see how its mapped.

....It can be defenatly remaped, as the stock ecu doesn't have an eeprom.
So......you need to find who does that daughter board and find the afferent software for the job.

If I were you I'll give Ed from Fusion a call and ask him if he can do something about it!

That board looks like an "RS Yamamoto" unit. Don't know anything else about them other than what they are.

When I bought mine I was told it had a Yamamoto ECU in it, but I've never seen any sign of it... I've never pulled the ECU out because it's wedged in pretty hard under the alarm, but there's no sign of any extra stickers on it. - God only knows how you'd go about remapping it.

Old thread ish - but:

If its not encrypted by any methods (usually swapping data lines about) then I can do that no problem, if it is then its not usually worth my time looking to see how its been played with and cheaper just to fit nistune or something.
