what size slicks fits in the GTIR wheel arch??

As subject says.. Needs to know how big diameter can fit in the GTIR wheel arches. Someone must have experience with this.

Im looking at DOT approved slicks from MT and the smallest 15" slick is 26" diameter... A little to big Id say :shock:

What sort of racing is it for?

If you want soft slicks (but are not dragrace ones) then Avon, Dunlop, Mich, etc etc etc all make track slicks and some are very soft compounds for hillclimbing etc.
Look at the tyre company motorsport websites as they will often give the compounds plus overal diameter of the tyre.

PS. real drag race slicks have such a soft sidewall its bloody terrifying to drive the car on even when slowing down on the dragstrip.

I was thinking of real drag slicks (MT) with DOT..

I need the DOT approved ones as some of the drag races here in Denmark only allow theese.

Cant seem to find any that fits the little pulsar :roll:

Maybe Ill just have to go with some street slicks instead (yoko, toyo a.s.o.)

I dont think MT do 22" slicks with DOT approval.. Only 26"
