what to do (alloys)

right, dont know if any of you remember but my alloys are fudged from the road/grit from the council bods gritting the roads, so i contacted a few local wheel refurb places and they've all said that they cannot match the colours and get them back to the 'out of the box' look :( :( :(

so, do i....

a) just ask them to get them as close as possible :?
b) keep the alloys and get them sprayed a different colour, all in black or white
c) get them to just 1 colour, the standard alloy colour
or..
d) sell em as they are and get a new set of something different?

ur opinions please ladies and gents :D

You're gonna have to be careful with your choice of replacement wheels (if you go down that road), cos I seem to remember at PTS, getting a rizla trapped between the wheel and the caliper :shock: :lol:

LMAO, hey Kieron mine arrive tomorrow and i should have them on by the end of the week :p I got a good deal on them so have cancelled the Ultralites :wink:

why duz the the colour av t match if ur getin em refurbed?? jus choose new colour when theyre getin dun. I,d say dnt get em sprayed unless u av to : got mine powder coated for £160ish for full set.
That includes : tyres off, sandblasted, acid dipped, blasted again, repaired, coated, baked, tyres on, new valves, balanced!!
Spray paint 'sits' on the metal, wheras powder coat is 'drawn' into the pourus surface of the alloy = much better finish and more durable.
