Where is the ecu?

I know I'm a bit thick anyone?

near the bulkhead between the front wootwells- basicly behind the radio, you get to it by removing the side panels

there's a 10mm bolt holding in the plug for the ecu.

i took mine out last night and it's a 10min job to remove.

A word of advice, disconnect your battery first before you remove the ECU! I have been told that it's possible to fry an ECU if you don't disconnect the battery.

Quick Q...
if u remove the ECU will u lose any settings on say like the AVCR boost controller?
I think I will write them down before I start with the spanners!!

Should not do mate as i've had the battery off my car for 5 months and still retained my settings on my HKS FCON and EVC 4.

If your leaving the battry off for a few hours you should be ok.
