Where to get R checked and tuned ?

Hello all.
I have owned my R now for a couple of months.
Could anyone recommend the best place to have the essentials of the car checked and possibly tuned - would then like sound advice to what could be done to the car next.
I live in Kent near the Dartford tunnel.
I got the car with a full mongoose de-cat, forge dump valve, AP fast road clutch, black diamond front disks, so thinking about power increases once i know the car is running sound.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

the closest place to you i think is abbey motorsport just off jc6 of the m25.
thier number is 01883732331.
Be warned they aint cheap though.

Before any more power increases id sort the brakes out first, stick on a set of hi spec or willwood 4 pots. Also put an induction kit such as apexi .
To increase boost, you can use an apexi avcr boost controller which has quite a few other functions on it. Running 1 bar will be safe.

Checking most of the essentials of the car, u can do yourself to be honest.
Changing the oil, oil filter, spark plugs, fuel pump, gearbox oil isnt that hard. :wink:

Do you think Abbey would be the best place for a rolling road ?
I looked at their site just now.
Looks pretty professional.

Also induction kit is on the list of next to do.
Do you rate the Forge motorsport K&N conversion kit from the Evo?
Or is the Apexi power intake kit better.
Both roughly the same price i gather.

Nice to know i have some fellow R owners in my neck of the woods.

Im in Welling right near the football ground.

There is another one parked a road away from me, don't know if he/she is a member here.

If i buy the Apexi induction kit is it a simple fitting / do i need to do anything else or is it as simple as plug & play ?

yes!!! biggest is best! i havnt heard another one sound half as loud- got good gains on the rollers after having that and the decat fitted.

the apexi looks a little limp compared to the k&N :wink:

Does anybody know if the Forge K&N Air filter will fit on the Z32 AFM :?:
