where to wire it?

hi, just a quick question, i've just put in an aftermarket boost gauge and was wondering where is the best/easiest place to wire the illumination to:doh:

Just pick up a live that is only live when your lights are on eg wire for dash lights.
That way it wont be on all the time like if you used an ignition live.

I think mine is tapped into the same wire as the EVC... which in turn seems to be connected to something behind the centre console - the cigarette lighter maybe?

as above, use the cig lighter as its easy to get to, plus that way you know which fuse protects it rather than just going for any random wire
