right, i`ve got a weird noise coming from the two belts at the left of the engine, when its cold it sounds like the belt has frayed and is catching as it goes round (if you can imagine the noise)

but when its warm it just makes a high pitched whirring noise that gets louder with the rev`s. sounds as if one of the belts is slipping but checked em and they`re both ok.

i`ve been told it might be the oil pump but not sure, also my front windscreen washers have packed up but the rear one works(not sure if thats got owt to do with owt, but i don`t know)

any light shed would be greatly appreciated and cos you`re such a fantastic bunch of lads (and lady[:X]) i know you`ll be able to help me out..[][][]

Ive got the same but worse dude sounds like a hoover goes up and down with the revs but when mines hot it goes almost completely

Had all the belts off at once and still makes the noise come to conclusion it must be cam chain

Mine does that when it needs an oil change, so yes think it could be cam chain
