Had enough now, so the car will be trailered to whomever can fix it but don't want to be travelling light years away.

I'm in Sheffield, needs to be reputable and have an eye on detail rather than speed of repair.

Apart from Bob, are there any others on here that know this car like the back of their hand and make your living from repairing them?

Ideally, it would go to Bob, BUT it would be asking a lot of the friend that's helping me trailer the car that far so needs to be closer.

So far I have my eye on DCMS in burnley who have very good reviews from members on the SXOC.

Cheers, it's going to DCMS in a couple of weeks now.

Fingers crossed it's not anything serious, possibly for sale once it gets back as well but we shall see

Can't get the crank seal to seal, and it's making a nasty noise from that area as well.

I don't know that Sheffield is especially close to the Midlands. It takes me 2-3 hours to get to Rotherham from Chester, and it's at least another 45 minutes on the M6 to get to Wolverhampton.

Also, consider Noble motorsport in Chesterfield.I don't know what the quality of work islike but they do specialise in performance cars so maybe do a bit of searching on them.
