wierd gearbox thing

i've just found the wierdest thing, my transfer box keeps emptying, but when i checked the level of my gearbox it was way over full and the oil leak i have seems to be coming from the gearbox. so it would seem that oil is going from my transfer box into my gearbox and then the pressure is forcing it out of the joins in the box due to a blocked breather. i've unblocked the breather but i'm lost as to how this is happening. has anyone else ever had wierdness like this, anyone got any ideas, Ollie? i'll give you a ring this week if thats ok.

the seal in between the transfere and gearbox has probaly worn and is allow oil to migrate between the two

thanks man. i'll pull it apart tomorrow and have a look. can you get to the seal from the transfer box or is it a gearbox out job (please say it isnt)

you can just unbolt the transfer box and change it without removeing the gearbox not a quick job ask olly
