driving along today and suddenly the ABS and Battery light start slowly flashing in tandem. does anybody know what this means?

i think it means that your alternator belt is slack and going to come off.
when my belt fell of the abs and battery light came on together.

bang on. thanks mate. just checked it and the sodding tensioner bolt had sheared off in the alternator.

how do you get the alternator off? anyone.....

cant help you there i done a tep fix cause my engine was coming out in a few months aftre the bolt snaped.
