WOOHOO Got my new Turbo!

Arrived this morning from Japan...

Is an HKS GT3037 Pro S.

Is almost new, got it for a bargin price!

Just gotta get a manifold etc made now!

I thought these turbos had to use external wastegates?
is this a special one of turbo

The 3037 Pro S has an internal Wastegate.

The 3037 & 3037 S both need external ones.

The engine is being rebuilt next week. Just got to sort out a gearbox...!

They do the 3037 with a 48 (420PS) / 52 (440PS) / 56 (470PS) compressor wheel trim…

The 3037 Pro S only comes in the largest 56Trim. Is rated to 480PS. Should be good for just over 500bhp I have been told…

The inlet is massive! (10cm!)

Has about 500rpm more lag than smaller models. (4000rpm)

The Pro S wont fit on the standard manifold, as it has a T3 flange opposed to a T25.

It was ebay motors (www.ebay.com). The seller was from Tokyo in Japan.
