i got a noise of zzzzzz sound when im braking. Only notice it when going down a dual carriageway with window open and then braking. And it only happens when im braking. ??? any ideas.

Have you got grooved front brake disks?

got grooved and breathed discs, braking is fine and spot on so no probs there was just wondering is the noise anything.

Grooved disks give off a weird type propellor sound when braking, that's how I describe it anyway.

Relax its normal everyone gets it, its just ur drivetrain noise.

I used to get a whrrring when braking hard from 140mph (my mates thought it was the drive train) i thought it was dry wheel bearings on the front, fitted a pair of new front wheels brgs a while back cars quiet as you like now. :lol: 8)
