I've had this for 13 years now.
Bob Heywood gave it his blessing when I bought it (not knowing much about it).
It was running in limp mode then and was still faster than my Golf, so I fixed the brakes, wheel and tyres then fixed the loose connection to make it go properly now it could stop.
I've not driven it much, and now have a Golf R mk7.5 as my later-life crisis toy.
It is taxed, MOTed, untouched except for sills which have been done.
The rear arches are showing bubbles.
It is kept in my garage which I need to empty as age and health suggest that I need to have a clear-out.
I'll post more info/pics when I've got it out and in response to any interest. I'm in Bucks.
Reg is M570OEL - I call it Mole because of that and it's four wheel drive scrurrying.
Moley might like the plate.
I reckon its a close run thing between the R and Mole for smile generation.
The R comfort is more commensurate with my age...
