car cutting out

hi dont know if any one can help i ve got a bit of a strange problem with my pulsar !

it seems to cut out at high revs in 3rd gear around 6,000rpm it drops all power for around 6 seconds then its ok!
this also happends in 5 gear at 120mph when ur flat out! it cuts again! the car is running standard boost at the moment with
Hks Headgasket
blitz air filter
5zigen exhanust system turbo back!
Kent sports cams.

any ideas?????

Sounds like you might be limited still, although I think mine did it in 4th and 5th. My car did something similar when the delimiter was playing up.

im guessing it doesnt actually cut out as that would be very dangerous at that speed loss of all power etc, im guessing it is just like it the rest say and its either still limited or delimiter is goosed , it would normally hit the rev wall or limit and the die off back to a safe level ,

Mine was like a total loss of power when it did it, it dropped me a good few mph before cutting back in. It was nothing like the 56mph limiter on my lorry which holds you at 56mph.

iv got the same problem with mine it cuts out at 103mph in 4th and 123mph in 5th but when it was on the rolling road last year it went to 127mph in 4th also if im going down hill it wont cut out till the road levels out iv tryed 2 converters/delimiters and its still the same

yeah ive been told it could be a weak fuel pump! so i mite try that first !

I would not keep trying to replicate the problem if it's lack of fuel.
You will end up melting a piston.:shock:
Have you checked the fuel filter?

i do try and stay away from the points where it cuts! but im gonna fit a walbro 255 fuel pump and replace the fuel filter! thanks for the advise
