can anyone give me any info on what RPM the gti-r should tick over on idle?

any help would be appreciated. Thanks:thumbsup:

lol kiez av had all mine at 1100 latest one at 1400 to compensate for lumpy tickover with hks 264s however it does need a good rolling road to sort this issue 1100 should be fine mate.

When I took mine to nissan last august the technician said they should tick over at 800 once warm .mine ticks over at 1000rpm.

ive got HKS 264's with a power fc Z32 2.0m HD Gasket 87mm pistons

upon cold start it revs to 1500 rpm and drops down 100 increments every 10 seconds until its warms and settles smoothly to 800rpm, most of the time!!

cheers for the info folks. mine starts around 1500 and then goes down to 1000, but no lower. i'm happy with that after what u lot hav said:p

exactly the same for me. cold start up is 1500, then when warm 1000rpm. but sometimes when its hot and sitting in traffic it can creep up to 1500 again! doesnt bother me as it goes like it should!

GTIR pimp - mine goes up to 1500 again when in traffic or ticking over hot, sounds alright then :lol:
