weight of my car

Anyone would be able to determine an estimate weight of my car after i've removed all possible parts or replaced with lighter ones.

Here is the setup

Standard car (not RB)
Removed all interior including sound insulation. seatbelts, interior lights, stereo, speakers, door cards.
Only thing left inside car is dashboard, gauge cluster, pedals, steering wheel, one lightweight seat, a chromoly rollcage(32Kg), 2Kg Fire extinguisher.
Removed all the wiring harness apart from the ecu harness. made my own harness to operate fuel pump, radiator alternator metc. (just the essentials)
Fibre doors, with just the door lock mechanism. No side mirrors either
Fibre tailgate with standard spoiler.
Fibre bonnet with bonnet pins, removed the whole locking mechanism.
Plexi glass all round apart from the windscreen
Extra gearbox bracing
Bigger turbo (GT3071R WG)
Swirl pot 1ltr + extra pump
Removed All Aircon stuff including compressor bracket, cabin heater matrix, the lot
Removed wiper motors and all related mechanism
Removed the front and rear under bumper bars.
Removed ABS actuator
Removed the Y bracket and the other useless bracket
7Kg Battery
ARC TMIC
Added Oil cooler
Will also remove the standard oil cooler
Wheels+tyres x 4 = 64kg
Removed Inner wheel arches
Front Wilwood calipers + 2 piece 310mm brakes
Rear standard calipers 2 piece 310mm brakes
Tein coilovers
front lower + upper brace + 1 rear
Removed front headlights and will replace with one side inlet duct and the other just a fibre skin.
Added extra things such as MSD coil+amp, PLX Datalogger, and a shiftlight (max 3kg in total)
Larger Radiator
removed
AP elbow, down pipe, decat and straight single muffler exhaust.

I "wish" to get a 350bhp/tonne car :?

Anything else i could save on weight without using the grinder on body panels.

Apart from fuel weight, would i save any weight if i replace the fual tank with an alloy 5gallons tank ?

Mine weighed 1060kg yesterday with 1/4 tank of fuel. You have a few bits more than me (rollcage, bigger turb etc) but you also have removed a fair bit more. So I'd suggest a similar weight maybe a bit less. (just noticed the bumper bars gone)

What wheels do you have as you may be able to save weight there. Carbon fibre propshaft would save you weight.

Fuel tank would probably save you a little bit of weight.

Rota slipstream 16" which are 13.5lbs = 6.12Kg, Toyo R888 = 9.4Kg. A total of 15.52kg a corner excluding wheelnuts, and balancing weights. So 16kg a corner would be a safe round figure.

Carbon fibre prop would be very good to save weight and save on the inertia. i imagine it costs a fortune to get if i included shipping and most probably duty tax. It will go in my wish list :p

Since the car is just a sprint car and not road legal, I have the added benefit to remove certain parts which are road legal, such as wipers mechanisim/motors, headlights and bumper bars. I would also save weight if i do a front exit exhaust but i am not sure the effect when having no back pressure Vs low end torque.

I do release that my rear is light as air while the lump in front is still there. Hope i can correct weight distribution by tuning the coilovers + swaybars. If not, Radaitor has to go at the back. :)

you will not lose anything by running a shorter exhaust, its a myth that you need back pressure from the exhaust on a turbo car, it needs to be as free flowing as possible

thanks for explaining. I come from the world of Honda and N/A tuning and i back pressure is essential. For turbos, i have no experience. I have a great book about tuning for turbo engines, i will have a look and come back :p

in simple terms the aim on a turbo cars exhaust system is to get the exhaust gases through and out of the turbo as quickly as possible. Anything post turbine that restricts that aim will affect spool, power and torque.
