Only two people have entered Team GTiR for TOTB.

Very disappointed that we don't have more cars but this seems to be the norm for Team GTiR!

Anyway, good luck to the two that have entered and I’ll be in touch with you both.

not my fault this year that i had to bail out, i really did want to enter but the bl00dy car as usual decided otherwise!

by the response from various people i thought there was gonna be a fair few enter thats why it never bothered me about bailing out, but now seems there was no one else hardly:roll:

well andy chan told me by text that the forms had to be in by the end of the month (last month), and at that time i had only just removed the head to see the damage caused to engine and thought 'theres no way i was gonna get another engine built in that time' plus it seemed there were a lot of others entering so what was the point in me risking it and saying yes to something i genuinely thought i was not gonna be able to make!!!

the trackday was only booked last week when i decided to lash the blown engine back together with s/h parts which ive scavenged.

cars still dis-assembled at the moment (with head off) and i dont even know if it will run properly when back together as the pistons are a mismatch, if it doesnt work then im going out to but a westfield megabusa this week to do my trackday in:-D

trackdays not this week its the week after btw, and yes will be entering next year if i can get the engine probs all sorted with the new build.
as you well know you cant plan anything with these cars, thats why im getting a backup for when the gtir lets me down that way i dont throw a load of money down the swanny everytime i book something:)


just noticed the date on this and for some reason i thought it was the 16th:doh:
is it possible to enter at a late stage because if the cars all running ok later this week i could still make it!!!

the awd car was running mid 11's, but certainly from the earlier runs the terminals were pretty low, 107ish which didnt quite add up. The dp car formally jason gants did a 10.75 i believe. The earlier runs i saw were both producing 130mph terminals aswell so plenty of power there. Neither went near the handling track which i though was a bit of a shame as i think the tighter circuit they seemed to have this year would suit the R.
