oil pump change

hi you guys. im planning on getting a garage to do the oil pump on my R. bob said it can be done in the car but its a pig of a job. just wondered on time scale and wot this job entails as i dont wanna get ripped off by the garage as ive spent enough on this car and still not on the road yet. serves me right for buying a project car off ebay.:der: can anyone enlighten me. thanks
