I was driving Down the road and I heard a Load pop. and I got to the store and went to take off and let go of the clutch and it felt like it was slipping..then put it in 2 and it slowly went. I then got it up to about 4th at 60 just to limp home. Can someone please help.

Yeah, sorry about that. Could not resist.
There is not enough information about noises and symptoms to deduce what might be the cause of the problem. Or even what the problem is.

Please elaborate.
- do the revs match the car speed, meaning does the tacho show the normal revs for the speed.
- does the exhaust sound the same or has it got deeper or raspier.
- is it still making any boost.
- what does it sound like if you rev it in idle and stationary?

the revs dont match the cars speed. barley moves.
exhaust sounds about the same can't notice any difference.
I don't have a boost gauge but I revved it up and the blow off vaulve worked...does that mean my turbo is still working?

oh I forgot when I left the store my girlfriend in the passenger seat noticed a thumping by her feet. and when she said that I was like what the hell is that?? It was a rythmic thumping all the way home...sorta sounded like a cv axle snapped and was thrashing around.

My clutch has been good and strong even right before it happened. I see a hose line close to the bumper that is off. I will take a picture of it when I get a second if that would help.

they are special bolt and pulsarboby will likely have some.

the threads may be buggered too so if they are you will need the input shaft but its an easy job :)

it looks like there are splits/cracks near the threads so maybe shaft needed.

oil will come out if you remove the shaft so you would require some.

:)

The part number of the bolts is.... 39106-64E00, you will need 6 of them. You will need spring washers to go with the bolts.

can you tell me where I put the oil in at? I m a n00b to this car...can you tell?
you`ll be able to see the filler plug under your battery mate on the side of the box.

Its horizontal facing the front of the car, so you fill up until oil comes out of the hole.

Where in the US are you?

How long have you had the car? interesting how they are all gone.

Cheers,
ollie

Exactly, not very common to go like that. Its the first one I've heard of. Might be best just to get a 2nd hand drive shaft and replace the lot. Cheap part but shipping might cost as it not light.
