Does a UK spec Gti-R command a premium over an import?

Just thought id raise a topic of conversation, are Sunny Gti-Rs more desirable than Pulsar Gti-Rs and if so why or wny not?

Do they command a higher premium to buy?

Or are they worse off due to the increased risk of rust our UK winters bring?

They are more desirable for a couple of reasons:
There were fewer of them, so they are more rare (and therefore more dear).
They are also cheaper to insure etc a they are not an import, but a domestic car.

They are pretty much the same car, so I don't think the UK winters have much more effect on them... it snows more in Japan, but they use less salt.

i have had 2 uk one's and 1 jap car ,and tbh my uk car's were in better condition than the jap car,but the uk cars were both very well looked after by previous owners

was no differant on the uk ecu's we checked ,but buy edm ecu that could be germany, france, holland as they sold the sunny gtir there too and they have even worse fuel than us,the only difference we found was the base timing was 18 degree's rather than the jap 20 degree's

you should be able to run alot more boost with that edm map which could be of benefit (more midrange torque)
I was thinking of using it as a safe map while i change my AFM and adjust my fueling, then ill switch back to the JDM one and increase boost whilst checking for knock
