fitting turbo hoses??

iv just bought some ss tubby hoses (used)

my question is will i need to purchase some new banjo bolts and washers or will i be able to use the standard oe fittings , not ideal i know but this will be coming off again in a few weeks to fit a uprated elbow ?

i pretty sure the answer is no! but anyone no where i can get hold of these in a hurry ,was planningonfitting them on saturday~?

Picture doesn't work...

I think you need new copper washers, but the banjo bolts should be OK to re-use... of course if it's only a couple of days you can probably get away with it.
Is it a standard turbo, or will you need to fit a restrictor too?

I can't see the picture but you should be able to reuse the banjo bolts.

you will need new copper washers, some will say you can re-use them but it's not a good idea.

any idea where i can get some, i believe there goodridge hoses,

so the oe bolts are ok,?

You'd be surprised how many times you can re use a copper washer :lol:

I've got access to all the copper washers i could ever want at work but always seem to forget to bring them home with me when i need them, as a result the washers on the water feed and return hoses on my turbo have been used about 5 times now :oops:

that's true but it's always the one time you say it's fine to use and it goes tits up! :roll:

thing is i kinda need these for saturday, are these vehicle specific or will i be able to pick these up at a motor factors

ill get new banjo bolts when i fit the elbow and washers if need be

well unless you can get new ones just use the old ones but double check for leaks....

aneal the old ones (heat till red hot with a blow tourch and let cool down normally DO NOT QUENCH!) they will be as soft as new then.
