drive/propshaft bolts

anyone know the thread size/length and tensile strength of the bolts used to attach the N/S driveshaft and propshaft t the gearbox and transfer box? i expect nissan will be after £1 a bolt or something stupid like that?

Ha ha ha ha ha.............£1 per bolt, more like £4 - 6 per bolt

but compared to what you must have spent already it would be a shame to skimp, I would advise to get new ones from Nissan

Aren't these bolts the star shaped head type where you need to remove the bellow to remove ?

I put these on yesterday and greased and sealed the CV with bellow :) .. Pm Bob, and he will sort you out.

no, I think they are round headed bolts that have a flat ground on one side that sits against the prop to stop the bolt spinning when your doing them up and from memory they have normal hex nuts.

:doh: i was referring to the front O/S drive shaft bolts .. sorry my bad
