i have to agree with topdog here but also with andys comments.
fact is that the car should have not entered this year untill all the bits were sorted on it.
it does give the gtir a bad name finishing near the foot/bottom half of the table so surely it would have made more sense (as andy suggested) to do trackdays and testdays in car this year and note the times on various tracks, aclimatise the driver with car, and also weigh up the competitors lap times at the various venues and compare to your own times.
this is the reason why ive not yet entered my car into any racing as tbh im off the pace of a top 6 finish, once i get within 2 seconds of steve fergusons times then its chocs away chaps lol, but at the end of the day its no use if your getting your butt whooped by other competitors.
you have to get your driving and car upto scratch before entering or it doesnt do yourself or the gtir rep any use at all.
