Sounds about right mine was £1700 plus vat 11 years ago and it must of gone up a bit since then, You need to budget £2500-£3000 once you've built up a quiafe box including new bearings and labour.

My mate is selling a cryo treated quaife box at the moment, I reckon you could get that for around the £1800 mark, It hasn't done much mileage since it was built due to his engines going pop lol.

Yup thats right, I have a build reciept for the quaife I have waiting to be fitted for £3k, only part on a modded Pulsar that seems to hold its value!

At the moment I don't have the money for this part.......I just payed around 2500 quid for a tig/wig welding machine:p

Tom it's a language thing; not everybody calls it tungsten. In some countries it's wolfram, so you get WIG instead of TIG welding...

yer i dont know whats in it now but the foot dip if you sniff it makes you go blind for a minute and you cant breathe maybe thats why it says wear a mask lol
