The AFM reading might just be odd because you've dumped a load of petrol over it - it might need to dry-out a bit before it starts behaving again.

Could this be possible???

Signs of limp mode on common ECUs:
•
Check engine light and/or ECU LED will stay on
•
Will not be able to connect to the ECU using consult
•
When IGN is turned on fuel pump will only pulse on momentarily rather than running for 3 to 5
seconds.

•
Engine will not run correctly. Engine may start but idle will be poor and engine will overfuel
badly, resulting in obvious clouds of partially burnt fuel coming from exhaust. Engine may not

run at all if injectors and/or AFM are non-standard. May lean out when rev exceed 2000rpm

I extracted this from Nistunes website!

How has he dumped petrol over the airflow metre? u lost me there mate
let me get this straight the airflow wasn't connected properly, u didn't realise at first so you played about with injeter duty. Now you have hooked up the air flow correctly have you put the ecu back to eds original settings?

Sorry, I meant A/F mixture reading ("air/fuel" as opposed to "air flow", which admittedly is what I typed). - The lambda sensor is not giving the right reading because unburnt fuel has been pumped out of the cylinders into the exhaust. It's just a theory because I don't know how long it would take to clear from the system before you get a "true" reading again.

So .....after I checked the AFM wiring, and solved the problem.........I put back Ed's settings and same thing happened (overfueled badly).....then I did turn the injection multiplier to 80% and started ......but when I slightly blipped the throttle it stalled.

Then I tryed again to start it......it starts in maximum 2 seconds but when I blip the throttle it stalls.

This is a complete mess....I will try and check the soldering again...though it was made by a professional.

I took a picture of the jumpers from the Nistune daughter board.
Is this correct ???
Jumper No. J1 is locked and jumper No. J4 is unlocked

Its a bit dry but should work. The fact that you can connect the software too it says to me its fine. I need a data log you need to get one of the car NOT running and send it to me. You may have a sensor problem.

So....I've discovered the BIG problem....

Thanks to Ed I've discovered that my ECU is in limp mode.
I have another standard ECU and when I put it on the engine started without any problems.

So........Thank you Ed...ECU is on its way to you!!!
