15" with 285mm four pot brake upgrade, no spacers.... great for track use. Larger tyre sidewall gives you a bit of a cushion. Same size sidewall with 17" rims is just silly.

Could you take 2 measurements of your brakes for me please?
From the centre of the hub to the end of the caliper and from the wheel mating surface to the heaight of the caliper (edge closest to the spokes)?

Will do.... be tomorrow though.
The main clearance issue with 285mm kit seems to be clearance between caliper and wheel spokes not inner rim and the lower the wheel ET the better the clearance.
I think it has been possible to fit 310mm kit under 15" rims. Very few rims would allow for this though.

I have 2 sets of 15" wheels. Buddy Club 6.5x15" and Team Dynamics Pro 1.2 7x15. Buddy club are ET42 and do not clear my wilwood 4 pots (caliper hits spokes) without 10mm spacers but the Team Dynamics are ET35 and clear the 4 pots without spacers.

Velly.... it's 150mm from centre of hub to outside edge of caliper and 10mm from caliper to inner wheel rim.

Thank you for getting those measurements for me, This kit is 10mm closer to the hub centre than the Evo I-III calipers & has better spoke clearence.

I run 16's which I thought were the optimum size for the pulsar after reading up about wheels.

I have also purchased a set of 17, intended for track use, but its weighing up the pros and cons, heavier, but a lower profile.

It boils down to general preference and what you like, only other factors like mentioned are do you have, or want bigger brakes in the future, and what you budget is!!!

With regards to o brakes I run 6 pots with 300mm discs, can get these under the 16's I run with spacers, but only a fag paper to spare!!

Will see if I can find a pic if you want and might be for sale soon anyway
