Well on one car one dropped out going round a roundabout and the other has a bad knocking one, cheers bob will sort something out

not better off buying new c.v joints? i replaced my passengres side(40gbp) with a used one and it did nt take long before it was knocking its tits off again,

fitted new c.v's , not a peep

Could be worth it, was that the cv end and gattor seen a few on ebay

Dropped out of the cv joint or out of the gearbox?

I've got all 4 in my garage.

new c.v's will cost the same a 2 used ones and there pretty easy to fit

Just the CV joint not the tranny, not sure if the retaining clip was dodgy
