I have fitted the GT3040 with A/R 0.87 and the spool is similar than the GT3076R. About hp i don´t can tell more at the moment because i not had time too check them.
Sascha, was it a .63ar the last time we mapped it?

Ive been in a car with a GT3040 and it seemed to spool up quicker than a 3076 and felt really quick. Not sure on Exhaust A/R though.

I dont think garrett list it on their website anymore and mappers found the difference in size between the compressor and exhaust housings too dificult to avoid boost surges.

It is definatley a turbo I have been considering though so any feedback and figures would be great.

Hi Dan, I think in all honesty you seem to be looking for something that doesn't exist; a 500-600bhp turbo thats will respond like a 400bhp turbo on the same engine
I'm not so sure. It would be at the lower end of that scale but i reckon an E85 set up on a 3071 would be an awesome combination, low lag and about 500bhp!

hi james,

the dynoplot was made with the GT3037S and .87ar. now at the GT3040 i have the .87ar too. At th GT3040 you must fit the high flow compressor housing because the surge line could make problems.
