No its not much of an auction but it saves people bidding 1.50 2.00 2.50 etc silly bids even if i put a reserve on. Ive listed it at bottom price of what ive seen them go for!
No1 has asked you to bid on it. Ive just put the link on here as i know a there rare & people want them.
It came out of the car in working order.
I had a problem with the car & thought it was the diff, i replaced it & the problem is still there so it wasnt the diff at fault!
Ok i can see im getting slated here for selling an item that was in working order when i removed it from the car! (maybe people trying to get something for nothing, i dont know)
So lets put it this way, If you sold a working engine out of a car "any car not just a pulsar" & it was working when you removed it from the car & it had good oil pressure, good compression etc, WOULD YOU ALL STRIP IT DOWN & check bores, oil pump, & generaly look at internals to make sure everything was ok???
I dont thik thats the case & any1 would do that unless they knew it was knacked. Then it may be a rebuilt engine for sale! fair enough.
But an engine for sale thats known as working is sold as a working engine that COULD BLOW UP within 2 days of the new owner running it "As i stated in the ebay add, In working order" Like ive said 100 times i thought the nismo diff was causing a problem i have with my car so i replaced the diff & problem is still there! So diff wasnt at fault.
So the nismo diff was sold in working order!
Just seems funny how people dont read things & make someone out to be a dodgy person & prob be posted all over the forum from next week as ill have a bad name (Gaz gtiR dodgy seller etc, etc)
Point proven... Like i said above "funny how people dont read things" 2nd paragraph it says (if the engine had good oil pressure & compresion etc) would you still strip it & rebuid it before you sold it! erm NO! :roll:Compression test would be nice
Let's hope :doh:you can fined some one who knows what there doing to fit it :doh:I'll let you know if it works once it's in my car
Have used Nismo front diff & in comparison the Modena geared LSD is my preference for road/track ...And how much experiance of all the differant diff's allows you to qualify that statement?
Glad your happy with it then Mark I think thats just burst a few peoples bubbles. :lol:I've just collected the diff from a local specialist and they have stripped it and cleaned it back up. Totally clean bill of health and all shiny too shame it's out of sight. Can't wait to get it fitted and feel the difference.
Either way, its a diff, not impossible to repair anyway. Just glad i didnt buy a pupNo just means you were lucky this time....
Not cheap to repair though....Either way, its a diff, not impossible to repair anyway. Just glad i didnt buy a pup
I bought into that though. I guess in it for a penny in it for a pound. Pulsar ownership isnt cheap. Not cheap to repair though....
not true, it is cheap compared to any other performance car....i just had to fork out 5k on an engine for tvr and thats a stock built engine with no warranty:shock:Pulsar ownership isnt cheap
What i'm getting at Bob is that recently Martyn sold a Nismo front diff for £550 and it had been checked and given a clean bill of health by someone who knew what they were doing, this one was for sale at the same price (it actually went for £595!) yet had not been checked by anybody who knew what they were talking about or looking at.....think your all being a bit hard on gaz tbh.....as he said these are secondhand parts and it wasnt the diff which was causing his problem!
he could have lied and said nothing but at least the guy was telling the truth unlike many others flogging stuff to earn a quick buck.
you cant expect brandnew parts for secondhand money and most stuff from these cars is now 20 years old or more so everything is an element of a gamble

look at prices for evo parts etc and youll get a severe wake up call
people dont realise how cheap a pulsar is to run in comparison to other performance cars
Hang on a miniute. Yes it was at £550 as that is the cheapest ive seen them sell for, Then i relisted the add on ebay @ £250 starting bid with no reserve & it sold for £595, thats not my choice as it could of sold for £300 with no reserve. Thats why ebay is a bidding site! What i'm getting at Bob is that recently Martyn sold a Nismo front diff for £550 and it had been checked and given a clean bill of health by someone who knew what they were doing, this one was for sale at the same price (it actually went for £595!) yet had not been checked by anybody who knew what they were talking about or looking at.....
Is that not a big gamble?
