Took bloody ages for me. Near on 3-4weeks. Expect a nice £60 ransom from parcel force when it arrives in the UK too

It wasn't from erics but last time I ordered a set of ACL bearings from the states they were in the uk in 3 days....................they then spent another 4-5 days in customs before I got them

You can get fed-ex 48hr delivery if you ask....................be seated when you get the price.

And they send you the item and about a week later the import duty invoice will come in the post.

Not sure about pistons as I already had them but when I built my engine earlier this year I got the ACL bearings from IK engineering (£130) and the rod bolts from Matt Lewis motorsport (£60) You can get cosworth headgaskets in the uk for sensible money too.

I needed the bits in a hurry and they were delivered the day after I ordered them so excellent service from 2 uk companies, and it actually didn't work out much more than buying it all from the states when you add on all the import duty etc 8)

If the seller is willing to write on the invoice "returne item" or "sample item" then you might get away form the tax man. Might be diferent in the uk, worth a try

I got mine from sumo power for nice and cheep I would call them though first to be sure they actually have it in stock on the shelf.

When I ordered mine they told me they had it in stock but two weeks later when I called them up they said that they were waiting for Cosworth to deliver it still. Not too sure how that works!

They're just as good as the HKS gasket but the only downside is you need to open the dowell holes out slightly on the cosworth ones but its not that much of a big deal.
